Chapter 6- Newton's Third Law of Motion!!

Third Law of Motion- Whenever one object exerts a force on a second object, the second object exerts an equal and opposite force on the first object.

If there is no action force, then there it is impossible for there to be a reaction force. They rely on one another to exist.

Equations: Force/mass=Acceleration



For example, this picture below shows that as you apply an action force on an object, the object exerts the same amount of force on you.

Action: Object A exerts force on object B
Reaction: Object B exerts a force on object A

As one ball swings, it transfers energy into the
other balls because of an equal and opposite reaction.
